Phase 4 – Post-Audit

The activities in this phase facilitate your auditor’s verification of all areas in the audit. The audit firm may contact you for any additional information prior to preparing and submitting the final audit results.

Your auditor will perform a detailed review of the audit ratings and deliver a written synopsis as well as recommendations for any issues found during the audit process. If you must correct any deficiencies found during the audit in order to receive a favorable result, you will have the opportunity to do so. Your auditor will work directly with you to schedule any re-audits of specific items, if necessary.

Any additional fees for the re-audit process will be discussed between you and your auditor.

Your audit firm is not permitted to provide consulting services to help you pass the audit.

To continually monitor and evaluate the audit process, your audit firm must answer a “lessons learned” survey to the ATA SRO subcommittee and The Taylor Institute. Information from these surveys will help the ATA to continually refine the audit process.
