Phase 2 — Selecting the audit firm

Phase 3
The onsite audit

Phase 4 — Post-audit

Phase 5 — Request for accreditation

Phase 2 – The Request For Audit

Upon completion of Phase 1, the pre-audit process, you can move on to Phase 2.

Now, you are ready to review the list of available auditors and information about the audit firm. Once you select the potential audit firms you’d like to work with, you’ll submit an online Request Form. This form is sent to each of your selected firms who will then respond to you with their fee proposals.

The information that you will provide to these audit firms includes the following:

  • Basic company information (such as state of incorporation, number of years in business)
  • Audit Type (inbound, outbound, federal, and so forth)
  • Client Telemarketing Activity (such as inbound, outbound, exempt, non-exempt)
  • States into which you telemarket
  • Number and locations of company call centers
  • Your Do Not Call suppression methodology

Providing Information To The Audit Firm
After you select your desired audit firm, you can begin providing them with the additional information they will need to perform the audit.

Using the ATA SRO Audit Tool on a password-protected web site, you can provide much of this information, such as your DNC policy and telemarketing scripts, online. This helps reduce the amount of time that the audit firm must spend onsite, and allows them to develop their audit plan.
