Phase 5 — Request for accreditation

There are five phases in the accreditation process.

Phase 1 - The Pre-Audit Process

The activities in this phase help prepare you for the SRO audit process. You may participate in ATA-sponsored SRO training and informational seminars that will prepare you for the audit events. You can also access SRO information on the password-protected portion of the SRO web site.

The Pre-Audit Process also gives you access to the SRO Self-Assessment Toolkit. This enables you to fully prepare for the audit by reviewing each SRO audit item along with the specific audit criteria. The toolkit also facilitates data audits in order to validate suppression and campaign management processes.

When you are ready to begin the actual audit process, you proceed to Phase 2 – Selecting The Audit Firm.
