The training process consists of two days of classroom sessions followed by a comprehensive written exam on the third day. The written exams will be graded by The Taylor Institute of Direct Marketing at the University of Akron.

You must participate in the two days of classroom sessions prior to taking the written exam. However, you may register for the two days of classroom sessions without taking the certification exam.

Check the Calendar for upcoming Auditor training classes. You will receive course materials prior to arriving to the training session.

You will be notified by either phone or mail with the results of your written exam. If you receive a passing score, you will become a Certified Auditor and can participate in the ATA-SRO program by conducting formal audits of companies seeking accreditation.

If you do not pass the written exam, you may repeat the classroom training and the written exam at a later date. This repeat session must take place within one year from your initial training session. The fees to repeat the training session and re-take the exam will be at a discounted fee.
