You will receive course materials prior to arriving to the training session. The initial training session is scheduled for November 12 – 14 at The Taylor Institute of Direct Marketing at the University of Akron in Ohio.
Prior to the training session, you will receive a preliminary set of items to review. These include, but are not limited to:
- The Telemarketing Sales Rule
- The Telephone Consumer Protection Act
- The ATA Self Regulatory Standards
Course curriculum includes, but is not limited to, the following information:
- ATA Guidelines and Standards
- The applicability of the ATA Standards to business practices
- Potential “grey” areas regarding regulation and auditing
- Current statutes and regulations
- Relevant enforcement actions and related outcomes
- Auditing methodologies and procedures
- Samples of completed audits
- Hypothetical situations
Training materials are not available except to those who are registered for a training session.
